Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar is a former Indian cricketer and one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport. He was born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, India.
Tendulkar started playing cricket at a young age and made his debut for the Indian national team in 1989 at the age of 16. He soon established himself as one of the best batsmen in the world, and went on to have a career spanning over two decades.
Tendulkar holds numerous records in cricket, including most runs scored in both Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket. He is the only player to score 100 international centuries and has scored over 34,000 runs in international cricket.
Tendulkar played a key role in many of India's most famous victories, including the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, which India won under his captaincy. He retired from international cricket in 2013, having played in 200 Test matches and 463 ODIs.
Tendulkar is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, and has received numerous awards and honors for his achievements in the sport. He was awarded India's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, in 2014. He has also been inducted into the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame.
Since retiring from cricket, Tendulkar has been involved in several business ventures and charitable initiatives. He is also a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.
